As Laura and Frank’s Daughter, Lily, was packing up from class (I’m a teacher during the week) she looked up and said “Mom told me you’re going to be their photographer.” I answered “Yes, It’s going to be so much fun!” and eagerly awaited her reaction. “Yeah, we are all so excited! Frank’s a really great guy!” At that point, I only spoke to Frank briefly during our initial meeting, but I could tell that there were moments of awesomeness waiting to unravel within this beautiful blended family.
The first instance was when the kids crashed the engagement shoot and made for a moment that Laura and Frank will never forget. Then it was their son, Mason, letting me know that I better get some photos of him dancing. Lastly was all the intricate moments that Laura and Frank wove into their wedding day that included the now-siblings Lily, Mason, Olivia, Sierra, and Dylan.
Everyone involved in the day could feel the love coming from Laura, Frank, and their children. I even noticed that just about every vendor was local, keeping everything close to home. Constantino’s, Central Park Flowers, Ado Salon, and myself are all within 3 miles of each other! Home and family are important to Laura and Frank, and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be a small part of their family for the day.
In the words of Maya Angelou, “I Sustain myself with the love of family.”

To Laura and Frank, thank you for letting me be a part of your family on your big day. It’s truly rare to find two people as genuine and kind as the two of you are. It’s always an awesome occasion to watch the my students celebrate such a happy occasion, but even more awesome to capture those happy moments for them to cherish for generations. I hope you love this little sample of images from your big day.
