A Wissahickon Valley Park Engagement | Philadelphia Engagements | Keely and Cory
I love when couples aren’t afraid to be unique and go against “𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮”! When Keely said she and Cory wanted to do a winter engagement session, I got super excited! She mentioned Wissahickon Park with its overpass, bridges, snow covered trails, and rock ledges covered in icicles and I had to contain my excitement. When we showed up, it couldn’t have been better timing. The bridges were 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 and there was a fresh coating of snow everywhere. Not to mention they were the most 𝙖𝙗𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 (and photogenic 😎) couple who even had a little snowball fight mid session!
About the Park
Wissahickon Valley Park is a large urban park that is located in Northwest Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It protects 2,042 acres of woodland surrounding the Wissahickon Creek between the Montgomery County border and the Schuylkill River. If you’re looking for some cool photo opportunities, be sure to get some with the overpass overhead, then walk under the overpass and take a left to get to the smaller bridges along the creek.
