An Overlook Proposal at The French Manor | Morgan & Matt

A Beautiful Couple, Family, and Location

As I drove to the beautiful French Manor Inn to document Matt’s proposal to his love, Morgan, I kept one eye on the road and one eye on the sky. The forecast for the day called for rain the entire afternoon, but heaviest at the exact time Matt was schedule to propose to Morgan. There were spurts of rain along the way, but as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, the skies cleared and rays of light shined through the looming clouds. My immediate thought was ” Fate wants this couple together!”.

Matt was as cool as a cucumber as he dropped to one knee and proposed to Morgan as they overlooked the Appalachians. As she got the word “Yes!” out under her tears of joy, both of their families came bounding out of the restaurant to celebrate with them! It was an amazing moment as both sides of the families got to celebrate the occasion with the soon-to-be bride and groom.

After getting as many photos of the families as possible, it was the couple’s turn. Their love for one another can be felt by the way they look at one another. They fit together so well, like pieces in a puzzle, and you can just tell they belong together by looking at this gallery. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!
