A Treetop Wedding at Nay Aug Park | Scranton, Pa. | Amanda & Matt

As the wedding day began during a hot mid afternoon Saturday, I made my way up the hill at Nay Aug Park to the treehouse. The treehouse is a beautiful, natural setting with lush greenery, a picturesque waterfall, and stunning views. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the bride and groom, both of whom were eagerly anticipating their big day.

The ceremony began, and I was struck by the beauty of the park, which provided a perfect backdrop for the couple’s ceremony. The light filtering through the trees was perfect, and the couple exchanged their vows in front of the waterfall, which made for some truly breathtaking photos.

After the ceremony, we took some time to capture some more formal portraits of the couple and their families. There was then a chance to capture some more portrait photos of just the two of them. We wandered through the park and settled at the front of a cat sanctuary (yes cat sanctuary!)…… and there is where we got the main image to this article!

From there, we made our way to Leggio’s in Dallas, which was a perfect venue for the reception. The elegant decor and stunning surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for the festivities, and I was able to capture some amazing photos of the couple and their guests enjoying the evening.

The night wore on and the energy level ramped up. The dance floor filled up with guests busting out some impressive moves. As a photographer, it was a lot of fun capturing the energy and joy of the moment, and the couple’s love for each other was palpable throughout the entire event.

Overall, Amanda and Matt’s wedding day was a truly unforgettable experience, and I was honored to be a part of it as their photographer. The natural beauty of Nay Aug Park combined with the elegance of Leggio’s in Dallas made for a truly special day, and I’m grateful to have been able to capture it all on camera.
